SCHEDULING A VISIT TO THE MIAMI VALLEY SCHOOL

The Miami Valley School does their best to schedule visits around the beginning of class periods.  Our typical daily schedule is:

8:35 - 9:15 am
9:20 - 10:00 am
10:05 - 10:45 am
10:50 - 11:30 am
11:35 - 12:15 pm
LUNCH
1:00 - 1:40 pm
1:45 - 2:25 pm
2:30 - 3:10 pm

College rep visits are held in the College Counseling 'Loft'.  Any interested Upper School juniors and seniors are welcome to attend with the permission of teachers whose classes they will miss.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MIAMI VALLEY SCHOOL

From Cincinnati:
Follow I-75 North from Cincinnati to Dayton.  Follow signs for I-675 North.  Once you have merged onto I-675 North you will look for signs for State Route 48 North towards Kettering.  Once you have merged onto State Route 48 North you will go straight for approximately 2-3 miles.  You will go through one large intersection (State Route 48 and Whipp Rd.) and continue straight till you come to the intersection of State Route 48 and Rahn Rd.  You will turn LEFT onto Rahn Rd.  Follow Rahn Rd. through the 4-way stop at Mad River Road.  Once through the 4-way stop, you will take your third right-hand turn onto Denise Drive.  Follow Denise Drive until it dead ends into The Miami Valley School campus.  Once in the parking lot turn towards the left and visit parking is in the closest row to the school and nearest the Upper School entrance.  Enter the building and you will be greeted by Lisa Benedict.  (Approximate travel time:  1 Hour)

From Toledo:
Follow I-75 South towards Dayton.  Stay on I-75 through the Downtown area.  Look for signs for the Springboro Pike Exit.  You will take the Springboro Pike Exit and go LEFT off of the ramp.  Once on Springboro Pike, you will travel approximately 1-2 miles.  At Dorothy Lane you will be turning LEFT (there is a stop light at this intersection).  Once on Dorothy Lane, you will follow it approximately 3-4 miles.  (You will go through the intersection of Dorothy Lane and South Dixie and you will also pass a golf course on your left hand side.)  Once passed the golf course you will travel another 1-2 miles.  You will want to be in the right hand lane because you will be turning RIGHT onto State Route 48 - a.k.a - Far Hills.  Once you are on Far Hills you will travel approximately 3-4 miles.  (You will go through the intersection of Far Hills and Stroop and you will pass a large cemetery on your right hand side.)  After the cemetery, you will travel approximately 1 and a half miles to Rahn Rd.  You will turn RIGHT onto Rahn Rd.  Follow Rahn Rd. through the 4-way stop at Mad River Road.  Once through the 4-way stop, you will take your third right-hand turn onto Denise Drive.  Follow Denise Drive until it dead ends into The Miami Valley School campus.  Once in the parking lot turn towards the left and visit parking is in the closest row to the school and nearest the Upper School entrance.  Enter the building and you will be greeted by Lisa Benedict.  (Approximate travel time: 2.5 Hours)

From Columbus, OH:

From Indianapolis, IN:
